Position
I taught
both day and evening-division courses in composition, introductory literature,
surveys in American literature, and public speaking at University
of Maine at Fort Kent in 1987 (spring/summer sessions) and 1988-9
(fall/spring/summer). In addition, I taught an Elderhostel seminar entitled
"Toward Inner Harmony."
Committee
Work
I served
as secretary to the Humanities Division and sat on the Environmental
Studies Committee and the Search Committee for a Professor of British
literature. The former committee was responsible for completely revamping
UMFK's Environmental Studies Program; the latter committee reviewed
the vitae of applicants for the position and interviewed potential candidates.
