Albuquerque / Taos, NM (2002-2007)


I taught a variety of undergraduate courses, both core and elective, including fully online, hybrid, web-enhanced, as well as classroom courses. Prior to joining the Department of English at UNM's main campus in Albuquerque, I served as English Program Director of Lower Division English at UNM's branch college in Taos (2002-4). Initiated College Mentoring Program (Taos 2005). Revamped Communication and Journalism Program (Taos 2005). Represented UNM-Taos on the UNM Faculty Senate. Extensively revised the UNM-Taos Faculty Handbook. Served on the Leadership Council, Center for Faculty Development, and committees / task forces concerned with Student Success, Information Literacy, Diversity Issues, and revisions to sections of the Faculty Handbook. Received certificate of recognition for significant contributions to UNM-Taos by the office of the Executive Director (August 18, 2005)
